Inflation is the EU's harmonised index (HICP), the measure the ECB targets; the Statistical Office (SURS) also publishes a national CPI, which can differ by a few tenths. Slovenia joined the euro on 1 January 2007 and has had no policy rate of its own since: the rate shown is the European Central Bank's deposit facility rate, from that date. Before 2007 Banka Slovenije set its own rates for the tolar, which floated until it joined the EU's exchange rate mechanism in June 2004; those rates are not shown.
