Inflation is the Philippine Statistics Authority's consumer price index for all income households, 2018=100. From January 2019 the rate is the one PSA publishes; for 1995 to 2018 it is the change in PSA's 2018-based index over twelve months, which reproduces PSA's published rate exactly where both exist. The interest rate is Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas' policy rate, the overnight reverse repurchase rate, shown from January 2002. In June 2016 BSP moved to an interest rate corridor and reset the policy rate from 4.0% to 3.0%; that was a technical change in how the rate is set, not an easing.

From PSA's labour force survey, which became monthly in 2021; before that it was run four times a year, so the monthly series start in January 2021. The figures are not seasonally adjusted, and participation and employment fall every July and January and recover the following month. PSA's "employment rate" is employment as a share of the labour force; the employment-to-population ratio shown here is computed from PSA's participation and employment rates.

Goods trade is PSA's monthly data as the IMF republishes it. PSA reports trade in US dollars; each month is converted to pesos at that month's average exchange rate from the Bank for International Settlements. Exports are valued free on board, imports including cost, insurance and freight. The Philippines runs a goods deficit almost every month.
Goods trade only. Services aren't covered by this data source and aren't shown here, so relationships that lean heavily on services may be understated.

Debt and the budget balance are the IMF World Economic Outlook's general government figures, actual years only, so estimates and projections never appear as data. The general government balance covers all levels of government, so it differs from the national government deficit the Bureau of the Treasury reports.

The exchange rate is the World Bank's annual average official rate. There is no 10-year government bond yield: no free series that states a 10-year maturity is available.
