Inflation is the General Authority for Statistics' consumer price index, as the OECD republishes it. The riyal has been pegged at 3.75 to the US dollar since 1986, so the Saudi Central Bank (SAMA) moves its repo rate with the US Federal Reserve rather than setting it for domestic conditions. The repo rate is shown from January 2000, the start of BIS's official series.

Unemployment is the International Labour Organization's modelled annual estimate for all residents, published by the World Bank. GASTAT's quarterly labour force survey is not yet in a database this site can read; its rate for Saudi nationals alone, which the government's Vision 2030 targets refer to, is considerably higher.

Goods trade is GASTAT's monthly data as the IMF republishes it, in riyals: exports valued free on board, imports including cost, insurance and freight. Oil dominates exports, so the balance moves with oil prices and OPEC+ production decisions. All three series end at the latest month for which both exports and imports are published.
Goods trade only. Services aren't covered by this data source and aren't shown here, so relationships that lean heavily on services may be understated.

The riyal's peg to the US dollar means its exchange rate against the dollar does not move; the figure shown is the World Bank's annual average official rate. There is no 10-year government bond yield: no free monthly series for Saudi government debt is available.
