CPI is sourced live from the OECD's consumer price system, the same feed used for Japan, Canada, Australia and South Korea, after the FRED mirror of India's CPI stopped updating in March 2025. The fetch refuses to publish stale data: if the CPI tile is missing, the last verified observation was too old to show as current.

Unemployment is sourced from MoSPI's own Periodic Labour Force Survey (PLFS) via their eSankhyiki API, monthly Current Weekly Status data, only available from 2025 onwards since MoSPI only started publishing at monthly frequency this year. The feed is wired up but has not yet returned data on a live run; this tab stays hidden until it does. On the roadmap: employment and participation rates, and wage growth.
